How a HERMLE C 250 Transformed Its Business and Gave Rise to a New Machining Division

In 2004, CINTEX began operations with a modest goal: manufacturing polyethylene containers. Two decades later, the company has evolved significantly, expanding into customized PET packaging, label production under its iColor brand, and most recently, high-precision machining through the launch of Integral CNC. The catalyst for this transformation? A strategic investment in the HERMLE C 250.

From Outsourced Tooling to Full Control

Like many manufacturing companies, CINTEX struggled with bottlenecks and high costs due to outsourcing mold production. Long lead times and limited design flexibility were persistent challenges. The team recognized that gaining full control was key to moving forward. Their solution was to acquire a HERMLE C 250—a high-precision 5-axis machining center.
“What impressed me the most right from the start were the surface finishes and the precision. We wanted to reduce our dependence on others and shorten production times. We never imagined it would become such a powerful ally for the business,” says Héctor, Director of CINTEX.

A Short Learning Curve and a Clear Vision

For Marco, an industrial designer and machine operator, the change was immediate.
“The interface is very intuitive. In no time, I was designing, programming, and machining complex parts with confidence. What once seemed impossible is now part of our daily workflow,” he explains.
Integrating the C 250 allowed CINTEX to reduce mold manufacturing times by more than 40%. This not only accelerated internal production but also opened the door to offering machining services to third parties, leading to the formal creation of a new business line: Integral CNC.

One Machine, Many Benefits

  • High precision for complex mold geometries
  • Design freedom without external limitations
  • Superior surface finishes in less time
  • Professional growth for the team through exposure to advanced technology

A defining moment came when the team completed a PET bottle mold in less time than ever before and with a level of quality they had never previously achieved. “That day, we truly understood the value of the C 250. We had a tool in our hands capable of taking us further,” Marco recalls.

Beyond the Machine: Hermle’s Support

For CINTEX, investing in the HERMLE C 250 wasn’t just about acquiring cutting-edge equipment—it meant establishing a trust-based relationship with a committed technical team. From installation to full operation, HERMLE provided consistent, personalized support. This close collaboration helped shorten the learning curve and gave the team the confidence to adapt quickly. The partnership not only strengthened their technical capabilities but also solidified a vision of growth grounded in innovation and the support of leading brands.

From CINTEX to Integral CNC: Growth with Confidence

The HERMLE C 250 didn’t just solve technical challenges—it redefined the company’s future. Today, Integral CNC offers machining services to clients who demand quality, precision, and short lead times, all backed by German engineering at its finest.

“When we invest in cutting-edge technology, we invest in our future. HERMLE gives us the confidence to turn every challenge into an opportunity. With the C 250, we didn’t just improve—we evolved.” — Héctor Hidalgo, CINTEX
